The Discover 2.0 concentrates microwave energy at a single focal point for very high energy density, precise temperature control and rapid, clean reactions — turning reactions that take hours or days into processes completed in minutes. Rapid, uniform, volumetric heating eliminates the thermal gradients that drive side reactions. Sealed vessels allow solvents to be superheated far above their atmospheric boiling points, dramatically accelerating kinetics, while instant-on/instant-off control prevents overheating. The result is frequently higher yields, cleaner product profiles and less purification work downstream.

Enables microwave-enhanced reaction rates at low temperatures — simultaneously heats the sample with microwave energy while cooling the vessel exterior. Used for temperature-sensitive chemistry: carbohydrate chemistry, eliminations, substitutions, carbanions and highly reactive intermediates.
